Set-Up Speed

I have to say, I am relishing the current setup situation, which is that I can typically throw up and use or pull down a shelter quite a bit quicker than Scott can. That’s because his setup has a higher learning curve than mine does- once he masters the hammock, I’m going to be real jealous. Apparently there’re some Boy Scouts that can set up one of these things in 38 seconds. Holy Shit!

So for now, I gloat.

    for now we’ll have to provide you with the promise of video from the result of our first race and the promise of an upcoming video. I’ve got him in my sights now. There is considerably less swearing in my set up process

    i keep wanting to ask if your hammock turns you into a tasty wrapped up treat - positioned thoughtfully at mouth level - for big animals looking for a nibble, but i think that would be bad karma. no, wait, i don’t. you’re gonna get eaten.
