This happened a few days ago, but I wanted to mention how great it was to see Matthew in Philly. Matthew and I lived close by in DC for a few years and having such a good friend so close was really amazing. We had a bunch of memorable/hard to remember nights in the city and I hope we get the chance to have that kind of experience again.

Now the man’s living in Philly (soon with GF Kim who is great) and taking classes on the road to dentistry. He took a break from studying for a Chemistry exam to grab a bite and walk around the University of Pennsylvania with me. I don’t envy the man’s course load. I hated chemistry, hated it more the harder it got, and from the tests he showed me it seems like he’s dealing with some hard chemistry. But it’s all part of the road to being a dentist, I suppose. Best of luck man! I’m counting on you to fix my rotten teeth in a few years!
