Kait and Ryan were kind enough to take our extra crap and hang onto it for a while until they can bring it home for us. What a clutch move! I have decided to create a title for people like Kait, Ryan, Erica, Justin and those people that we have not yet stayed with. The hospitality they’ve extended and excitement for the trip are nearly immeasurable. Especially in these early stops, the ability to be able to sprawl our crap around someone else’s space while we figure ourselves out is an incredibly generous gift to give. Anyone exhibiting this level of support has to be sacrificing their own comfort to be a huge part of our trip and needs a fitting title. From here on out, these people will be referred to by me as a “Champion of the Road Trip” Really just amazing. Today is a leisurely drive through Pennsylvania following the Appalachian trail.
