Low Key Day
Winding down here in NYC is always bittersweet. The city itself is all the good things that you hear about but it just seems to suffer from a lot of litter and general filth. Add that to the millions of people who squeeze in there together and I think that it will always be a nice place to visit and a nice place to come home from after. Brendan and I worked on the blog today and are getting closer to knowing what the heck we want to do with it. My favorite part about this process has been Brendan’s patience in allowing me to do the editing and coding while he instructs. I know how hard it can be to direct someone to do a task that comes so quickly to you. I think that is something about education that gets lost in the idea of a teacher being patient. It can’t just be patience that fuels a good teacher, it also has to be an ability to slow things down and relate smaller parts of a larger abstract idea to the information a student already has in their head. Definitely not easy. Tonight will be out to LI to see Mr. Morgan Mosier, Molly, and Travis. The Sox are playing and I can’t wait to take in the game with a broseph.
